Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge & Spa

We loved this hotel. The price was great. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The views from the room would be hard to beat. Having a small gas fireplace in the room was a much appreciated bonus. That little fireplace kept the room nice and warm all night while adding a relaxing ambiance the entire time. The bed was clean and super comfortable. The pillows were good! Not your normal pancake thin pillows that don't hold your head up. There was a full closet to store your belongings and hang your clothes. We didn't go down to the hot tub on this trip, but it was hot and ready for anyone who wanted to relax with a snow-covered beach to look at while enjoying it. As another bonus, Heidi's Pancake house is located in the same parking lot. So it is a quick walk from the hotel, and you don't have to worry about finding a parking spot. There are also grocery stores and other places to eat right down the street. The location is great.

Absolutely adorable cozy and affordable. Seriously one of the best places I've ever stayed in South Lake Tahoe and the views can't be beat. We got a full beach view from our room on the private Beach area that the hotel has. The rooms are super comfy and the perfect cabin vibes. My only reason I didn't give it a full five stars is while the very outside of the hotel has been renovated and the rooms are kept clean and nice you can tell she's a little old. It's not a deal breaker but the carpets definitely could be used to replace and some of the rooms to have a little bit more paint on them and a few more upgrades like a microwave in the room. However other than that everything was fantastic. For it not being an upscale Hotel the beds were Beyond comfortable. My husband and I just spent our mini honeymoon here this last weekend and it was perfect. Upon reservation we did mention that and when we arrived the staff had left champagne glasses and a signed card from all the staff congratulating us on our wedding. It was a very welcome Special Touch. Well we can't speak for busy season cuz we did just go up in the off season the hotel was fairly quiet and there was plenty of room on the private beach as well as enjoying our patios uninterrupted. The staff was great super helpful and the hotel provides after hours check in for late arrivals which was super convenient for us given our arrival time wasn't until almost 2:00 in the morning on Saturday. This is a must stay and can't be beat you we can't say enough good things about our stay here this weekend.

This was the best hotel/ location I have stayed at in Lake Tahoe. I needed a rest after taking care of my 93 year old mom for several months and this hotel was perfect. The staff was extremely cheerful and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here. I was in room 217 for 4 nights and the view of the lake from the room and the balcony was gorgeous. I could hear very little noise from other rooms. That may be different in the summer, but it was perfect in early October. I would have used the on site spa, but for some very concerning reviews on various sites.
